Dear Members of the NGO database of the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa
As representatives of the civil society at the grass root level in Africa, you are key partners to translate into actions the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the aspirations of the African Union Agenda 2063.
In the challenging times imposed by the COVID19 pandemic, our office would like to share with you two key messages, one is a call from the Secretary General for a global ceasefire and the second is a call by the Under Secretary General and Special Adviser on Africa to address the specific needs and challenges affecting Africa.
